Angel talked me through all the options, factors in price, hardware styles, aftermarket hardware ideas, and even sent samples to help me make my final decisions. Everything was packed very well and I’m really happy with the final outcome.

I hired Doors for builders to install a new front double door and replace an existing single front door. It was a very tricky job, but Doors for builders handled it with impressive skill and attention to detail. From start to finish, Angel and her team were professional, efficient, and thorough. Ursula was fantastic. Door is of the highest quality, when delivered our builder stated “This, is a very nice door!” Door is 2 1/4 inches of thick mahogany, with real wood dividers on the windows and very quality construction. Came in an espresso stain which is very close to black, perfect for our application. Expensive, but of the highest quality and looks fantastic!

You can spend a great deal of time, thought, and money on your home, or any structure for that matter, but if you do not have a good door all of that is diminished. We really can’t say enough positive things about our experience there. Throughout the process they kept us up-to-date, answered any questions we had, and even sent us pictures of our door as it was being made. They even installed our door handle for us. The process was great. Section was wonderful. Totally changed the curb appeal as well as the inside ‘feel’ of our home. Showroom is awesome. Started the process in September/October of 2018 and had install in late February (some weather delays that pushed back install). Big double doors 8′ x 3′ each. Greg Wozniak who is the owner there built some of by business partners homes (Globex Builders) and I always loved the doors to their homes. This company really does amazing work. for anyone who has researched the topic, you know that these doors are not inexpensive, but the doors we got (double, solid wood, 8ft tall, mahogany with raised molding) are absolutely worth the price. they are more akin to a fine piece of fine furniture than to doors you might find in you corner home improvement store. I will make sure to post pictures as soon as they are installed. Service was excellent and delivery was right on schedule. The staff can walk you through a dizzying landscape of choices from stain color to hardware finishes and everything in between. I purchased these doors and installed in my new house. The quality is solid mahogany and they look beautiful. We have gotten so many complements on them. We searched locally all over and decided to do some research online. They are so detailed and provide amazing customer service so you don’t need to be afraid of buying online. I am a local designer who was introduced to Doors for Builders and Sandra, by my client’s home builder. They provided such a great product and service, that when my next project came up, I suggested to the client they also needed a door from Doors for Builders.
The process of specifying the right door, finish and hardware was helped greatly by Sandra’s extensive product knowledge and understanding of aesthetics.
They have both modern and classic styles, but with all the modern upgrades needed for all types of environments.

It is a rare moment in life when you get a wonderful product you’ve dreamed of for a long time and feel lucky to have gotten it! I am a local doctor, love to travel and always try to bring a memory/souvenir from my trip. But now i feel that my new door from Doors for builders.com is the most beautiful object I’ve got and i didn’t have to travel for it!

I found it on their website in the clearance section for the fraction of original price! Angel, my salesperson, sent me the pictures and specifications. I fell in love. It’s a very thick( 23/4 in) mahogany single glass panel double wood door with special technology panel at the bottom that resists warping. It is made in Europe and imported preassembled with a frame. I had several in depth conversations with the manager Daniel Biodrowicz, who has exhaustive knowledge of his product. Daniel described in detail the way the door was made and functions. When it turned out that my opening was 10 inches wider than the door frame itself Daniel ordered and manufactured 3 large pieces of mahogany trim for the exterior. He recommended beautiful locks from Emtek Wilshire line and helped me decide whether to get a single lock or a pair (I settled on the latter). The door was predrilled at their shop for only additional $100. It only took 2 weeks for everything to be manufactured, prepared, stained, polished, wrapped and delivered to my doorstep. The truck driver helped me carry the pieces into the garage.

When my carpenter waivered on the lock installation (thick door needed an extension kit) Daniel has sent a master installer Mariusz the same day. He installed the locks on site in a matter of 1.5 hours for free! Gave me a new smoother lock cylinder, Cleaned and vacuumed the place, accepted a diet coke and left with a big smile.

What can i say? This was the best home improvement experience of my life. Great and rare product bought at a great price, delivered and installed quickly and professionally. Daniel gave me unparalleled product support and advice.

We used Doors for Builders for our ocean front property in St Augustine , Florida. The design requirements went well beyond typical door manufacturing . The interior door spec called for 8′ solid core, slab units with a mylar type facing while the door jam needed a recessed profile to match the rest of the interior which has no molding or trim. The front entrance door had to both make an arrival experience statement and be hurricane certified to meet building codes.I would be very hesitant to work with anyone else for a project of this scope and complexity. The attention to detail was borderline obsession which was invaluable.The European workmanship was world class. The only word to the wise is plan well ahead if you want a engineered product of this quality and caliber
